Shown is a simple but effective muted safety scanner solution that allows frames to enter a paint booth, preventing all systems from running in the event of human intrusion. A dome light mounted at eye level shows the muting status.
Once the first two muting light curtains are both broken by the frame, the scanner is programmed to allow the forklift frame enter at a specific speed without stopping the system. As soon as an irregular movement or unknown object is detected by the scanner, the system is effectively E-stopped to prevent any human harm.
