What You'll Do:

Creative Solutions: Work with the latest technologies in automation such as robotics, AMR’s, conveyors, and other systems by researching and generating conceptual solutions for custom automation systems. Your creativity will drive innovation. 

Customer Interaction: Engage directly with our customers throughout the entire process, from understanding their needs to assisting in presentations of tailored proposals.

Collaborate: Work closely with sales, engineering, and management teams to ensure seamless alignment between solutions and customer requirements. 

Presentation and Quotes: Develop and showcase concepts to customers, highlighting the competitive advantages of the proposals you created. Support quoting teams by being a resource in the field and by developing feasible concepts and costs.

What You'll Bring:

Educational Background: Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering but your passion for automation Mechanical Engineering is what counts.  Candidates with an Associate's degree with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise may also be considered. 

Experience: 5+ years of industry experience leading applications and projects in the automation sector.

Customer-Centric Approach: Experience in quoting, sales, and customer interaction is required. Your customer-focused mindset will be the key to success.

 

Skills You’ll Have:

3D CAD Proficiency: Whether it's Inventor or SolidWorks, you're comfortable navigating CAD software to create mechanical concepts. 

Simulation : Ideal candidates will have previous simulation experience using software such as Solidworks, Motosim, RoboDK, Roboguide, etc. 

Travel: With opportunities to visit customer sites for up to 20% of your time.
