Battery Tray Cell

This automated palletizing cell handles plastic trays that hold battery cell trays for Electric Vehicles. The cell is fully automatic with pallet detection, a color stripe sensor for tray orientation, and features a Fanuc R-2000iC robot with custom End-of-Arm Tooling to handle the trays. The robot effortlessly inverts each tray for a quick vacuum sequence in each empty tray section for cleaning, prior to being transported to the Battery Loading Cell, preventing any dust or debris from contaminating the Battery Trays. This cell features Mitsubishi Q-Series PLC Control and interfaces with a MiR AMR for pallet load and unload.
